ABSTRACTThis paper describes an experience of affirmative psychological care with six transgender individuals in situations of social vulnerability, carried out in partnership with the organization Distrito Drag. Focused on ethical care and mental health, the intervention addressed gender dysphoria, family rejection, social challenges, and structural violence. Through 21 individual sessions using integrative approaches, the work prioritized qualified listening, identity strengthening, and the construction of support networks. The results point to improvements in self-awareness, management of family conflicts, and emotional well-being. The study reaffirms Psychology's ethical-political commitment to social justice, highlighting the clinic as a space for resistance and transformation, where psychological assessment functions as ongoing support and validation. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of continuing such services to promote equity and inclusion.
