GROUP THERAPY OR INDIVIDUAL THERAPY: COMPARING RESULTS
Abstract
This article is the result of a monographic research project, in which one wishes to reflect on the opposition that the clientele appears to have when it receives an indication of group therapy. Thinking about this subject mentioned here as a questioning focus, it seeks to revisit the beginnings of Psychology and consequently of the group relations established by Man. The look that permeates this consideration called Gestalt therapy, the theoretical approach that underlies this work. Thus the first chapter will provide historical data of the construction of Psychology as a science. The second will reflect on the attendance: individual and group, respectively, by the prism of Gestalt therapy. The third one will address the intended results in field research.
